Our activism is grounded in a firm belief in meliorism, fully conscious that a bit of ours could go a long way in creating a better world where mentally handicapped children form a coherent part of society rather than a liability.

Mission
To provide scientific and professional training to the mentally challenged children in the field of education, vocation, employment and behaviour and with the much needed heuristic approach by which the children are encouraged to discover rather than be merely taught and as such to make them self dependent as useful and active members of the society.
To mobilise public opinion and to create congenial social environment to accept these children as a part of society rather than a liability, while our activism is grounded in a firm belief in meliorism, fully conscious of the fact that a bit of ours could go a long way in creating a better world - embracing both - the fortunate and the less fortunate ones.

- Organizes various seminars to educate parents of their legal rights and opportunities available to their children.
- Help provided to North West Special Olympic Society for organizing special olympics at Chandigarh.
- Organized talks/symposia to make the parents of the children aware of individual problems being faced by their children and to suggest remdies.
- After continuous and dedicated efforts in march 2001, Sadhna socity launched it's first venture at Manimajra in the shape of Sadhna Vocational Training Institute for Mentally Challenged in rented premises from Chandigarh Municipal Corporation. In a very short period, the institute has come up as one comparable to any other Institute considered the best.
